Sometimes we get so used to one thing that it is hard to take it away from an environment, and give it a special character. Things we do daily become a routine, so we no longer see them such special as they were, in fact, they seem boring.
Like when we travel to a city that we love, and we want to stay and live there to know it better, and we think it’s impossible to get bored of that city, but when we tell it to a friend that has been living there for awhile, he says us that he is “bored of the same.”
I’m bored of taking the underground every day. At first I liked it, as it was prompt and for the short time that it lasted I could read, think or be talking to Ricardo. But now it has become a routine, and they are the longest 20 minutes of the day.
So I’m going to pay attention to Andy Warhol, and now, when I back home from the office, I’ll let my underground time surprised me!
