We leave the madness of September to begin this October in a much more serene way. We are entering autumn, one of my favorite months, and we travel to Brussels to enjoy the city and be able to walk around while the temperatures allow.
Typographic combination
In this case the chosen font is Google Font Manrope, with seven styles in the family, which makes it easily combinable with itself.
Color combination
This month we have made it two-tone, we took a warm tone, blue and contrasted it with pink. From each one of them come different tones that will be responsible for transporting us to the city.

If last month we said that autumn was coming, in October we are seeing it more and more evident. The field is tinged with earthy colours and the deer come down to the shore to drink. It has always been a very special month for us and it still is, so we will enjoy it from the first to the last day. In addition, the heat is gone and the days can be enjoyed much more.
Font combination
For the name of the month we have chosen the Bumble Bee font, free to download with some very original strokes that combine with the Google Quicksand font. This google font has 5 styles within the same family which makes it very combinable with each other.
Colour combination
If in September the earth colours were becoming the main ones, in this month of October they are the protagonists without a doubt.

We were afraid of September, but it has almost finished without realizing it. It is a month of changes, and as we catch up the weeks go by giving way to a new month, October. As I have said on numerous occasions, this month is very special to me, I like it. We leave September behind and we immerse ourselves completely in that road we had been saying.
The projects settle and little by little we return to the routine and we even like it! We see that everything we had thought about the previous month is taking shape and little by little we will build it.
We are still travelling this road this month, but this time we have arrived at the sea, which was with us in summer. So we can only explore it and discover what it holds.
Enjoy the month and take advantage of it in each of its days and nights.
Font combination
In this case we have made a combination of Google Font. For the numbers, the chosen typeface has been the Nanun Gothic, an elegant sans serif that has three types within the same family. It is not very extensive but in this case it fulfils its function. For the title we took the Notable font, with strong and thick strokes that allow us to play and compose. As you can see, we create contrast between them while helping us to conjugate the illustration.
Colour combination
We are on a seabed, but we have to take into account that it is night time so this atmosphere must be transmitted under the sea. The blue colour has much prominence, combining it with yellow (the submarine could not be of another colour.) In this way we want the September illustration to be submerged in this month and everything will transport us to a dark night in which the moon begins to rise.

The only problem of autumn is that it comes after summer. We see it as that season that takes away many of the things we like: the sun, holidays… But it is actually one of the most beautiful seasons.
Time changes allow us to discover unique landscapes, where trees and their leaves are responsible of “painting” them. In addition, pleasant temperatures allow us to walk through most of the day.
It is a transition time in which we move from hot to cold, from the beach to the city, but also a scan time. Autumn allows us to rediscover what we thought we knew, see with new eyes what we thought we could not surprise us. And of course it is perfect for traveling and discovering new places.
I love summer, and who would not? But autumn is special, and as you know the month of October is my favourite, because even arriving in silence, always brings something new…
Colour Combination
You know that we love night backgrounds because they carry that special atmosphere in which we are a part over the starry sky … and in this case we are explorers!
So we took the blue as the main colour and performed a combination of cold and warm colours, a complementary combination in which we printed contrast and intensity.
Font combination
As for the font combination as in most of our calendars we use two fonts to print contrast. On the one hand, one with a creative character for the title, and on the other hand, another where readability is the main factor for the text of numbers.
The two are some old known fonts. We used Jaapokki for October, an original and creative font. And for the numbers we used a Google Font: Hind, a very versatile and useful font for paragraph text.
We hope they will accompany you during this new month in which you will discover and explore to the fullest!

I know that October normally is not the favourite month of people, and although for me it is a very special month, I understand it. In September we were still in summer, and even if we were almost in autumn, we could do many of the things that make summer the favorite season of almost everyone.
Surely more than one has been at the beach, has made a last minute break… Although work has begun, it is hard to get starting!
October seems to mean that summer has come to the end. We return to our routines, our work, to shorter days and generally a worse climate time. But it does not have to be bad. We can practice the hobbies we could not practice in summer heat: to walk in the morning or afternoon, to be in the sun without feeling hot… If we become household it is time to return to the crafts such as scrapbooking 🙂
Who would not like to see rain through the window with a hot coffee and a good movie? There all are advantages!
Automn seems as good as any other season. The weather was never an excuse for not doing anything. We can find the right plan for every moment and in October… there are a lot of things to do! Indeed, we will continue with one that we brought in summer: to keep discovering the universe!
Also, now that the days are shorter and nights are darker, it is the best time to get the telescope. We do not have to wait for the sunrise, and although it is true that we have to wear a few layers of clothing, there is nothing as a good blanket and a thermos.
So perhaps we are discovering new galaxies and maybe even the odd aliens! As we said just a year ago:
Because sometimes when we least expect it, something that changes our way of seeing things happens.
And throughout this year it has been this way! Happy October!

October is the less appreciated month. It is the month of the autumn, the month of the leaves.
However, October is a special month for me, so I want to represent it with my friend the owl.
I do not like owls. But last summer, I found one in my swimming pool. I rescued it and I brought it to an olive tree. And… the owl looked at me friendly.
Sometimes when we least expect it , there is something that changes the way we see things .
