1- User guide and theme setup

Thank you for purchasing our theme. If you have any questions or suggestion that are beyond the scope of this help file, please feel free ask any questions on the online Support Forum.

2- Getting Started

To install our theme you must have a working version of WordPress already installed. For more information regarding the installation of the WordPress platform, please try the WordPress Codex: http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress

3- Installation

Once wordpress is installed, you can upload the theme files and activate the theme.

Download the zipped theme pack to your local computer and extract the ZIP file contents to a folder on your local computer.

In the extracted folder you will find ‘realspace.zip’ Extract this file .

The theme files can be uploaded in two ways:

-FTP Upload: Using your FTP program, upload the non-zipped theme folder into the /wp-content/themes/ folder on your server.

-WordPress Upload: Navigate to Appearance > Add New Themes > Upload. Go to browse, and select the zipped theme folder, called realspace.zip. Hit “Install Now” and the theme will be uploaded and installed.

Once the theme is uploaded, you need to activate it. Go to Appearance > Themes and activate your chosen theme.

4- Setting Up The Homepage

To set up the homepage you must create a new page. Navigate to Pages > Add New. You can give this page any title and you do not have to include any content. Select from “Homepage” from the “Page Attributes” section.

Once you’ve selected “Homepage” for the “Page Attributes” section, click publish.

Now that you have created your new page which uses a homepage template, navigate to Settings > Reading and configure the “Front Page Displays” setting. Select the static page option and choose the page you just created as your front page.

Your homepage is now created and can be viewed by visiting your root URL.

5- Setting Up The Blog

To set up the blog you must create a new page. Navigate to Pages > Add New. You can give this page a title of “Blog” yet you do not have to include any content. Click “Publish”.
Once you have created your new page, navigate to Settings > Reading and configure the “Front Page Displays” setting. Select the static page option and choose the page you just created for your posts page. Your blog index is now created and can be viewed by visiting the page you just published.

6- Menus

Setting Up Your Navigation Menu

If you using version 3.0 of WordPress or higher, you can setup custom menus to configure your site’s navigation. The theme comes with one custom menu location called “The Main Menu” and is located at the very top of the each page, on the ribbon. If you are running earlier versions of WordPress, the menu degrades gracefully and automatically creates your navigation for you – custom menus are replaced with a list of pages. In this case, you will need to change the order of the pages via the page order option in pages.

To setup your custom menus, navigate to Appearance > Menus. Give your menu a name and create your menu items using the available widgets. You can add a variety of items including pages, categories, custom links. To extend the available widgets, click the screen options tab at the very top of the screen and configure your options.

Once you’ve added all your items to your menu, be sure to click “Save Menu”. Then, set your menu by clicking it for the Top Navigation Menu in the “Theme Locations” box in the upper left hand side of the screen:

7- Theme Options

You can customize the entire look of your theme, from colors to fonts and backgrounds. To get to the customization panel, navigate to Appearance > Site Options.

-Basic Settings
Basic Settings allow you to configure your site’s setup. Here you have options to upload your own logo, favicon and header banner.
Footer text, Header bar and your social spaces can be customized here

-Home Page
The Home Page tab lets you customize homepage features. You can select which sections is going to to show on homepage. Add a title, a description, an image…

-Real Estate
The Real Estate tab allows you to configure the currency, the map, the zoom…and more possibilities to personalize the property list

-Style and Colours
The Style and Colours tab allows you to customize the skin style and links colors throughout the site.

8- Adding Properties

You can add new properties in the “Property” Tab on your WordPress Dashboard.

It works like post. Furthermore, you have a custom box to add the price, number of beds, number of baths, the price…Please, fill all of textarea to to avoid errors due to lack of information.

9- Adding Agents

You can add new agents as users in your WordPress.

Inside of User Panel, you can fill the information about numbers and name of yours agents.
